The original request was for other "firewalls under $5k". I am not "arguing"
a price list, just factoring price as a reasonable context for comparisons.

You work for Cisco so you may have these part codes figured out better than
me but from the Cisco site
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/fw/sqfw500/prodlit/p515e_ds.htm it
seems that the 515E Restricted (around $3k market price) does not include
the accelerator card (also limits to 3 ports), instead the Unrestricted
version is touted as having it (around $5900 market). Using the Cisco
configurator, it seems we need a couple of network cards (to get 4 ports,
$300) and the 3DES feature set ($800 market). Note that I was using market
not suggested list prices.

The above prices are not my opinion. I do have an opinion that price does
matter in tech purchases.
