It's dues to the fact this is and has been a reocurring issue since perhaps the list was first started, and ussualy comes in quantity, one person admits cluelessness and then a few others jum[p into the "me too!" bandwagon. I guess we need to get the listmaintainer to add a pointer to the list FAQ and get the FAQ updated to provide the spoon feeding, perhaps as point 0.00a or something?
