Mani, I have encountered this problem too at a customer some time ago. It caused several of their firewall clusters to go maniac on them. This problem is a known one and there are solutions to it. I provided several links for you where you can look at:

I just removed the syslog entry that pipes it to the console (which caused the little DoS on their firewalls). Those servers run on Solaris so I dont know if it works for Nokia boxes.
