It's far worse then what's seen on the surface. Look at the last issue of
information security magazine and their 'logoff' article by Tom Ray, which
is the same whiney rant he engaged me with on the firewall wizards list a
few months back. Basically reduces to:
It's too hard to keep up, I have no time, I have no real skills, so it's
too hard to keep up and have a life.
Course, anyone with a clue knew getting into the IT market they'd be
understaffed and underfunded, and got in cause they really liked the fast
pace of change and the constants in learning and toys to play with. some
just never grasp work smarter not harder.
