How long will it be befor admin assistants will be in networking?

I have seen the PDM 2.0(1)  and where VPN used to be somewhat cumbersome,
you can have site to site VPN, DHCP server, PPTP tunnels, IPSec tunnels,
IDS, PPPoE, and NAT/PAT set up in about 5 minutes.
