Dear FISers and New Colleagues, Louis H. Kauffman (Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, University of Illinois at Chicago) is going to start another short discussion session, this time it will be focussed on the biologic. He will concentrate on the relationships of formal systems and biology, "to consider and reconsider philosophical and phenomenological points of view in relation to natural science and mathematics."
