-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I use fish 1.23.0-5 (Debian lenny).
When I change the directory in a gnome-terminal and then press ctrl+shift+t the commandline looks like this: "[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~>" but when I use ls I get the contents of the directory the old shell window used. When I do the same with another shell (bash, dash, tcsh) the commandline is correct. And now again ;) 1: start gnome-terminal (with fish as the user's shell) (directory should now be your home) 2: change directory (change is reflected in commandline) 3: press [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[T] (a new tab is created in this window, commandline: "[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~>") 4: look at the directory contents (shows the contents of the directory from step 2 So it seems that the commandline is set to a fixed value on start of the shell no matter what the CWD is -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFIVtSOSuimntuPN7YRAgYkAKCGCtDjuF+BoeAlPcmJJesAb16VLgCdFalS 056XA6bQW26Hyqh3JPLWvdY= =Vn10 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
