BTW I'm realizing that one of the problem with completions is that
they depend on the version of the program.

Ideally fish completions should be installed with every program
itself, but this is rather unrealistic.

A solution would be to detect somehov (parsing
--version/-V/-version/-v?) the version number of the program and then
eventually to report a warning.
