Hiya i love fish (couldnt live without it) but i get
lots of annoyances from it iv made a list for a while and almost
all (i think) are related to xfce-terminal gnome-terminal works fine
with some (first one) so here they are and im sorry for my english
1: When opening a new tab it doesnt set itself to actual
$PWD altho it is on PWD(when doing ls), if you echo PWD echoes on HOME,
after echoing it will set itself to HOME.
-- This happens when creating a new tab on xfce-Terminal
Gnome-terminal & Bash work fine
2: When you print a command thats pretty long without a newline and you
use the command history the prompt ussually gets chopped or
something weird happens I cant explain it well so ill just give an
example
printf "something incredibly long" prompt
use history and prompt gets erased or chopped off
Setting a bigger size or maximizing seems to fix the problem
although this seems to happen everywhere
3: Fish doesnt work on tty when you set it as default shell
but i think its because i removed X11R6 from PATH (tho it doesn't
exist) (not too sure that its the reason)
I use Fedora 8 and i compiled fish (1.23.0) without xsel but im not too
sure either way Cheers and thx for the awesome shell
