I understand that, as I can see now he is writing the Anna interpreter. But no good-bye, nothing, seems rude, and then it will be hard to trust him with other projects. But of course he owes us nothing, I'm just wondering, has he made no friends, does he have no nice memories from a project of such large scale as fish?

Hi Axel

My name is Patrick. I love fish shell. Your code is really great and laid out so well. Everyone is wondering what has happened to you. If you don't want to be involved with fish shell anymore could you please say goodbye? The community does want to keep your code alive but it's in a weird state as no one knows what has happened to you and how to move forward.

Thanks-Patrick

If he pushed a commit then he saw my message too. Indeed genius does not always equal kind. Should we just declare that we are officially "on our own" and move forward? Could we start a new thread "moving forward" and list want needs to be done?

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
