I just want a really short prompt. This function seems to work fine for me:
function fish_prompt -d "Write out the prompt"
printf ':%s ' (set_color normal)
end
How do I retain it between sessions? I understand universal variables
but I can't write this as an anonymous function with variable type
universal, can I?
