Over recent years, FPL has successfully organised annual conferences in key financial markets globally and in 2010 the Global Events Committee would like to host a series of highly targeted one day briefings. Each of these events will be held in markets that the committee has identified, based on member feedback, as locations where the opportunity to learn about new electronic trading trends and the advanced functionality offered by the FIX Protocol could prove beneficial to market participants. The five chosen locations are Moscow, Dubai, Cape Town, Mexico City and Stockholm. To ensure that each event effectively targets the needs of local participants, FPL would like to create 5 working groups (one for each event). These groups will prove instrumental in shaping these events, formulating the agendas, selecting suitable speakers and assisting in event promotion activities. We welcome your firm’s participation in these groups and the next meetings will be: Mexico City Event Working Group – Friday, April 16th at 9am Mexico City / 10am ET / 3pm UK Cape Town Event Working Group – Monday, April 19th at 8am ET / 1pm UK / 2pm Cape Town Moscow Event Working Group – Tuesday, April 20th at 6am ET / 11am UK / 2pm Moscow Dubai Event Working Group – Tuesday, April 20th at 7am ET / 12pm UK / 3pm Dubai Stockholm Event Working Group – Monday, April 26th at 8am ET / 1pm UK / 2pm Stockholm If you would like to participate in any of the above groups and attend the initial meetings, please email Kathleen Callahan ([email protected]), detailing which group/s, you would like to join.
