FIX 4.4 Release Notes are a detailed list of changes and goes by the order of 
the FIX Specification. Page 26 lists changes to Volume 7 and you are referring 
to the section called "PRODUCT: DERIVATIVES (FUTURES & OPTIONS)" which starts 
in Volume 7 on page 26. This is what the text "[no changes]" in the release 
notes refers to.

The release notes say that no changes were made to this part of Volume 7. The 
release notes do not claim to have made no changes to 
Derivatives/Futures/Options.

Hope that clarifies the confusion.
