FIX 4.4 Release Notes are a detailed list of changes and goes by the order of the FIX Specification. Page 26 lists changes to Volume 7 and you are referring to the section called "PRODUCT: DERIVATIVES (FUTURES & OPTIONS)" which starts in Volume 7 on page 26. This is what the text "[no changes]" in the release notes refers to. The release notes say that no changes were made to this part of Volume 7. The release notes do not claim to have made no changes to Derivatives/Futures/Options. Hope that clarifies the confusion. Regards, Hanno. > Hi, > > Hoping to get some clarification on asset type changes to 4.4 specifically > for Derivatives/Options/Futures. > > The FIX 4.4 Release Notes (products section) states that there are no change > to Derivatives/Futures/Options but in the summary of release notes it > indicates that there were changes to futures and options.
