LOL, Jean I can answer that. When we lived in CA we did alot more
blanketing than we do now here in UT. The reason was the temp. drops from
daytime highs in the low 80's, than dropping to the 30's at night. The 50 *
change,
esp when it was windy.....or rainy made them shiver and they didnt handle it
well. Now, they put on alot more hair coat, and do very well without the xtra
bo bo's. Thank-goodness because I HATE to blanket !
My 2 body clipped Fjords are wearing a light fleese blanket at night and
today got to go bare in the mild weather.
Our pulse rate for Hansal following the fast section " E " at the CDE
was 44. After pulling through very heavy water and mud the vets were quite
happy.
I have not detailed about the AZ CDE because there is an article about it
comming in the next Fjord Herald. Ive been sworn to secret keeping......!
