Thank you, Brian, for remembering Ron and Kit Davis. Yes, they did
contribute much to the breed. I know because I own four horses that were
produced by Davis' Valea's Lee and their various good brood mares. I think
the temperaments and conformation that the Davis's bred for are self evident
our homes and in the show ring. My horses are very dependable and
tractable. So much is due to their good breeding. Ron and Kit did allot to
promote the breed in the earlier years of the registry and at the show in
Blue Earth.
Kit will be at the MWFHC winter meeting this week-end....a good chance to
say "thank you" to her.
