No rocket science here, and no secret Carol. As you know, having
breeding stallion(s) in house takes alot more managment than having geldings.
Roger and Diane Whitney have farmed for years, and were downsizing their whole
operation....and even spending winters down in TX. leaving their huge farm
operation for months at a time. They offered several Fjords for sale, including
Anvil's Steinfin and Anvil's Jon ( Leidjo son ,also a stallion ) but in the
midwest, at the time, there was not a huge call for breeding stallions, and
esp.
when Steinfin himself had produced offspring like Patty Jo Walters, Ole ect.
that
were out breeding and making names for themselves as well. After some time,
Whitneys gelded both Steinfin and Jon, and they were as last report, living
together as happy geldings.

Owners of all their offspring have reported many times to this list
of their wonderful get.

I like the idea of the " virtual Evaluations. " With the upcomming gas
prices said to be possibly heading towards 3.00 a gallon this summer, it sure
makes backyard judging look good !

               * Rebekka and Sunns amber eyes are both dark amber. It seems
to follow this line, and my other 2 Leidjo daughters have the more comman dark
brown eyes.....but they do not have Anvil's Stina, (and the white dun factor
) as a dam. They are quite beautiful actually, and when Rebekka walked off the
trailer, I was shocked to see it ! I had only seen them in Suun and Stina
herself this summer.

More to follow on the adventure Jean....Lisa
