Hello Everybody from Carol Rivoire at Beaver Dam Farm in Nova Scotia ---
As most NFHR members know, Beaver Dam Farm usually sends out a Christmas/New
Years Newsletter. This year we've done an abbreviated Newsletter, and
tucked it inside a Christmas card along with a great picture of our
trainers, Jaimie & Kelly, their adorable terriers, an intern from France,
our own super dog, Champ, and a pretty consignment horse named Stella who
was purchased by Vanessa Webber. --- It's snowing and miserable today so
we're all gathered around the wood stove in the office addressing envelopes,
sipping coffee, and watching the mares frolic on the hill. These are the
mothers of the five fillies born this Spring. All except Stine are young
mares, and they look spectacular running on the hillside enjoying the
falling snow. - Winter has finally arrived in Nova Scoita.
One of the reasons we are not doing our big Newsletter this year is that the
NFHR Roster has grown so large that there are over 1,000 names, and mailing
that many Newsletters is a big job -- not to mention a big expense. ----
So, if you'd like to get this year's little Newsletter plus photo, just
email us and we'll make sure one goes out to you.
