Hello to everyone,
Upon talking with a few folks today and thinking on the situation, I have
come to the conclusion that there is some sort of unknown political hoopla
going
on that has caused this sudden concern over Mark's resignation and potential
re-election.
Personally, I have no desire to get involved in such a squabble, I have
never been fond of political manipulations nor do I appreciate being dragged
into
this. :) However, I am at fault; for while I DO advocate open
communications between the BOD and NFHR membership, I also jumped to agree to
the
conclusion I was told by a few people over the last week. This was wrong on
my
behalf and I do apologize.
With as many people as are running for this current election, almost the
entire BOD could resign and there would still be an elected volunteer to step
in
and fill the slot.
As for Mark's resignation, he has served his three years and done an
exceptional job, from all accounts. Granted, he and I have not always been
able to
communicate very well. :) Regardless, his work has been wonderful and a
benefit to the Fjords and there is no doubt quite a few members will be
saddened
to see him step down.
