I am the editor of the Norwegian Fjord listings in the Open Directory
Project at http://dmoz.org/
Do you have a Fjord-related farm or association that you would like to
promote on the Internet? Please consider listing it on the ODP. The ODP
a great way to get your website on the search engines and the cost is
totally free. The only requirement is that your website meet the
criteria at the bottom of this message.
By the way, if you are already listed in the Directory, please feel free
to check your listing and contact me with any corrections or changes.
Visit the Association category and submit URLs for associations here:

Visit the Breeder category and submit URLs for farms here:
http://dmoz.org/Sports/Equestrian/Breeds/Norwegian_Fjord/Breeders/
Criteria for FARMS/BREEDERS:
"The "Breeder" category is for farms, ranches, and other businesses
that offer Norwegian Fjord stallion services, horses for sale, lessons
and training, and related products and services. (Please note: Your
website needs to clearly be ~business~ related, not just a photo gallery
of your horses.)
"Websites in this category should have a strong, clear emphasis on
the Norwegian Fjord Horse breed. If the primary focus of the website is
something other than the Norwegian Fjord Horse, please submit the
website to a more appropriate category.
"Although the primary purpose of websites in this category is
business related, websites that also offer useful information about
Fjords will be given top consideration. This information might include
how you care for, feed, train, groom, breed, show, drive, ride, and use
your Fjords.
"Websites with "For Sale", event, or other time-sensitive
information should be kept reasonably up to date, or they will be deleted."
Criteria for ASSOCIATIONS/CLUBS:
"The "Association" category is for Norwegian Fjord Horse
registries, associations, clubs, and similar groups in North America
that have the primary goals of promoting the breed, preserving its
genetics, encouraging fellowship among people interested in Fjords,
educating people about the breed, and providing Fjord-related activities
and events."
