Hi,
I'm 62 yrs. old, Aron is 8 yrs. old and we have been taking lessons for
about 3 years, both of us starting out as beginners. Because of my work
hours,
just about every time I ride, it is a lesson, so I manage about 1 hour a week.
Today, we competed in our first dressage show. I couldn't have been more
trilled. My goal was 50 points and we received 60 for introductory test A,
which was dead last, but I was trilled. On Test B we improved to 64.71 and
we
took 3rd place with a ribbon. I was and am so excited. And of course, he got
all the ooh's and ah's that a Fjord usually gets. He is the first Fjord to
compete in dressage in the KC area, to the best of my knowledge anyway. There
may be one other that has competed in driving. Onna
