I cannot believe it has been less than 24 hours since I posted about Lucky
and
her new foal, and now sadly have to post that we lost Lucky yesterday and
now
have an orphan foal. .....Janne
SO VERY SORRY Janne !! I can only imagine how tragically unexpected and
traumatic this must be for you all ! We're wishing you all the best of
success in nursing Lucky's foal-- may she well adapt to her orphaned status
and relish her bucket nourishment! I never cease to be amazed at how robust
newborn foals are from birth, and so I know she stands a good chance of
survival. A big hug to you and baby girl... please keep us posted when you
