I have such a hard time with the fact that my fjords have so much
forelock. Does anyone have suggestions? ... I am open for help.

IT HELPS to roach the mane up as far as possible toward the front, poll.
(and if it's a thin mane stop farther back for more forelock.) If you decide
to thin out the forelock, be sure to keep your scissors vertical and work on
the underside, so no cut edges show.
