Dear Cheryl,
I'm so sorry to hear that bad behavior toward officials marred such an
otherwise wonderful event. I know what you mean about event planners issuing a
set of rules explaining the nature of coutesy but I can tell you from 36 years
of PTA meetings that it probably wouldn't effect the people who actually need
that kind of explanation. My great-uncle used to refer to these folks as
"somebody who ain't had no fetchin' up"...and even a great group like
Fjordhorse
lovers is bound to have a few. I hope the offended parties will take that into
consideration when they consider us all as a whole.
Anyway, Braveheart (the incredibly furry wonder pony) and I are really
hoping to see you all next October. We'll be on our best behavior.
