Yes, I was aware that clay is used to calm upset stomachs and that it was an ingredient in Pepto-Bismol etc. But my vet and I think it is more a stall vice than a stomach problem. Back to the original message. I have received at 5 messages about fjords with normal looking stools but that squirt liquid when passing gas, this to me shows a real problem. One of the messages was from a fjord owner in England. I received 2 other messages with 2 horses that had had the problem but now didn't. One was a fjord drinking from dirty puddles in his pen but once the horse was put in another pen the problem cleared and the other cleared on it own. We need to all stay in touch so that if anybody comes up with a solution we can share. Any ideas from the vets we have on the fjord line???
