Seeing my post this morning I am uncomfortable thinking that the idea of Norwegians as terrorists might not be well received. Perhaps I can reword it to say that when the Norsemen arrived, it was probably a pretty scary time. How do we connect this with present day Norway, when I find the Norwegians I meet are remarkable as a group for being gentle and compassionate? Trying to span the two eras in my mind is a challenge. My life has been vastly enriched by my acquaintance with them.
