Plan on coming the day before and staying the last night over. TRUST ME. There WILL be something for everyone. Demos, new classes, adjustments to existing classes, a specail judge that will help us celebrate, lots of good food, hospitality corners, Norwegian people - real - live ones from Norway! The Fair Board has already purchased medallions to be given out to every exhibitior, celebrating the MWFHC 20th Annivarsary. Phil Odden and his authentic family will be presenting the Norwegian Wedding Parade in authentic costume, plus presentations by other Midwest Fjord people. (I have a list, so watch out). Safety issues will be addressed, more space is being made for us, tents for stalls, new warm up ring, new sound system and we even have connections now from up above for good weather. Get your hotel reservations way ahead of time this year.....because I plan to advertise the show and demos - via interest news in some of the major Midwest newspapers and especially at the Midwest Horse Fair in the Spring, and hotel rooms may become hard to find. I hope with the help of Linda Syverson Kerr to have the preliminary information all ready by the winter meeting. Linda was a great asset last year and I roped her into it again this year. I would also like to say Linda and her husband Jim did a great job for the Lacrosse Eval. If you want something done - Linda canl do it. See you all in Blue Earth next year! Pat
