Hello....Well I went to the woods the other day with Randy. He harnessed
Storm and Peppin to the wagon, and off we went down the road two miles to
our wood lot. We met everything on the road imaginable....farm tractor,
cars, trucks, dumptruck, four motor cycles, and 1 four wheeler. They did
very good.... only stepped up the pace a bit when they met the dump truck.
They had never worked in the woods before so Randy hooked them up double to
yard out some lengths of fire wood. They did great. I got to lug the
peevee back and forth and to hold the ponies occasionly. *grin*I had never
seen a horse yard before. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed the outing
immensely. They are both going well under saddle and love having kids maul
them and sit on their backs. One little four year old, ( a duaghter of
friends of ours) practised climing up Storms side, much like a little
spider. LOL. He loved it, standing rock still with a pleased expression on
his face. We have never seen such kind well mannered horses. We are more
impressed with them every day. Gotta love Fjords!!
Happy Fjording everyone, Sue in N.B. (Storm and Peppin's mom)
