You're right, Lori, there is no "yellow factor". I was only answering the
question as asked. I should have been more clear, but you've taken care of

I'm not Jamie but I'll comment :-) Your logic is right on, however the
phrasing "carry the yellow factor" is misleading. As you pointed out, a
yellow dun must receive red (or, rather, lack of black) from BOTH parents
and creme dilution from only ONE parent. Therefore one horse doesn't "carry
a yellow factor" per se, as it is very much a combination of two horses
that produces this colour.
