I was privileged to tag along as gator and general dogsbody to Our Lady's Manor Arena Driving Trial at Ft. Meade Maryland yesterday. My friends were driving a magnificent morgan and a spectacular paint vse. Imagine my delight when I saw in competition BDF Laureate (shoot me for spelling errors!), owned and driven by Marcia Wozniak. He is an awesome gelding with the manners and deportment expected of Fjords. Marcia and Laureate placed first in dressage in the training division. I didn't track the final scores, but it was clear that they represented the breed very well. Much fun, and a lovely, cloudy, overcast breezy day. Sue Freivald and MVF Venn in Northern Virginia.
