RESCUE: In reply to the Rescue Fjords that were thin. I have now Fjords in
the opposite condition. They were LOVED too much and they are extremely
overweight. We are slowly working them and have them on a diet. No joke
these mares came to us with a back 3.5 to 4 feet wide. No saddle would ever
fit them. When you sit on them it is like an armed chair and the other is
like a very soft couch. I have photos and we are keeping a photo diary of
these two very loved Fjords.

Other than being very overweight, they are in great health. They gained the
weight slowly and we are trying the same for getting the weight off of them.

LAST FOAL:

Our last foal was born on the 17th. A COLT from Oldermann and Lupin. We had
a list a mile long for a filly out of her... so it is Murphy's Law that she
had a COLT. He is unnamed as of today... but we are selecting a name by
today. Mama, Papa and baby are PERFECT.

So we will have a few BOYS for sale.

FOR SALE: (contract directly for pricing)

1. COLT July 17, 2004 Brown Dun Mama: Lupin (High Red in NFHR CONFORMAION)
Papa: Oldermann (79.75 Points in NFHR Conformation) This guy is long legged
and will carry the markings his Mama and Papa has.)

2. COLT June 17, 2004 Grey Dun Mama: Lakka (BLUE) Papa: Johan (BLUE) Full
Brother received BLUE as Weaner... (This guy is more stallion type and just
as put together as his brother, very typee)

3. COLT April 17, 2004 Brown Dun Mama: Leka Papa: Perfect Stallion Prospect,
very long legs remarkable markings great leg stripes. Movement is excellent.
Great disposition and attitude.

3. OLDERMANN Brown Dun, proven Stallion or sold as a gelding. GREEN Broke
for riding and ground drives as of this summer. He will be hitched by the
end of summer. Sold as a stallion only to proven stallion handlers,
otherwise will be gelded in the fall and sold as a gelding to anyone that
loves a well behaving Fjord gelding.

4. FILLY Brown Dun 2 years, ground drives, Has been backed 1-2 times,
lightly worked due to age and waiting for her to grow into herself. We would
rather wait than over use our young stock. She does all the basics and is
well behaving. She is a sweet filly.

5. Mixture of broodmares: We are not sure which mares will be for sale at
this time, however, we do have a mixture of mares OPEN and in foal to
Blaamann that will be offered. If you are looking for quality, well handled
and useable broodmares that ride and drive, give us a call. We have good
bloodlines and well behaving mares that work and are good for birthing out
good quality foals.

Thanks for reading this email. We hope you all are having a great summer.

We wish for those going to BLUE EARTH and WOODSTOCK a wonderful time and
show.

For those that are preparing for an Evaluation, our thoughts are with you.
We know how hard it is to prepare for such an undertaking.

Rune and I are just "playing" this year. We will attend Libby Show but not
the Evaluation part of it. We will go and enjoy 1-4 of our horses and the
friendship that we have with many of you.

Hope to see all of you soon,

Catherine Lassesen
