I have no information as to whether this is "normal" for a Fjord or Fjord-X. However, I have a donkey who did this a lot in her youth. She'd lay down to roll, start to get up, then stop when she was in the "sitting dog" pose, consider her options, then usually lay down again and roll on the other side, come back to a sit, then get up. She wouldn't do it every time she rolled (and of course rarely when I had a camera handy!), but often enough that I decided it was "normal" for her. She is now 23 years old, and continues to be quite healthy. Marsha Jo Hannah Murphy must have been a horseman-- [EMAIL PROTECTED] anything that can go wrong, will! 15 mi SW of Roseburg, Oregon
