personally I like Timothy and Brome grass hay mix. However my field was already planted in Alfalfa in "88" and it is slowly thinning out so that I am overseeding with the previous mix. I prefer the grass since it drys out much nicer for bailing and the horses (unless pregnant or lactating) don't need all the extra calories of the alfalfa. Just my preference, Roberta MN When it gets really cold here I do have a little alfala around for the extra calories needed to keep warm but is isn't necessary it just for my mind. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, June 17, 2004 8:12 PM Subject: Timothy Hay > This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > What is the general feeling about timothy hay for Fords? > > R.J.
