I have a good circle of friends to ride with. We have all kinds
of horses, Arabs, Morgans, Standardbreds, Thoroughbreds, Haffies, and
more, but no Fjords yet. Next year hopefully my little Willow can join
the ranks. Some of the people show too, one jumping, and one at first
level dressage. Everyone of them, however, sure appreciates a good trail
ride and a good trail horse. My old Morgan gelding is one of the best,
and I think he is appreciated greatly, especially when we are out on the
trail approaching a bridge!
"There are no atheists in foxholes." Maybe there is no such thing
as a show horse when you are approaching a river crossing?
