Well, I won't worry about the filly eating manure or shoo her off of it anymore, then!
And yes, I have noticed my Basenjis love to eat manure. But they would. I always wonder why they make dog food meat flavored. It should be poop flavored to *really* appeal to dogs!
As for scours, she's nearly 3 wks old and has had no diarrhea. My mare rarely acts different when she's in heat, but if the filly has no change in her bowels at all, should I suspect my mare isn't cycling yet?
