Hi - I agree that the foal probably is grey. I also agree that the vet should be consulted both about the "runs" and the richness of the milk. Even tho the runs probably are a result of the mare's foal heat [6-12] days after birth, baby can still get seriously dehydrated. Joint problems are also possible if milk is toooo rich.
