I did not use my Fallis on my Fjord mare because of the bridging. I had originally purchased the saddle (with rounded skirts) for my Morgan mare who was short-backed but not as much so as my Fjord mare. When I was considering buying a replacement for the Fjord I looked at both Synergist who will custom make a saddle from specific measurements of a horse's back and also looked at the Fallis endurance model. I leaned towards the Fallis because I knew what it was, how it was made and how it "rode" and was advised by Fallis that some custom tailoring could be done.
