It is all black, including the seat (the seats on the Mexican saddles are not covered with leather like the American western saddles, but otherwise, are basically the same with a bigger saddle horn). It is made from the very best Mexican leather and has partial tooling and some fancy stitching like the fine Mexican saddles have. The matching leather girth is lined in real sheepskin. It has heavy, high quality engraved stainless steel conchos, as well as the rings for the girth on the saddle and girth and the heavy metal stirrups have this trim also. This can be easily silver-plated if someone wants for show. The all-black looks great on the Fjords with their coloring.
