Hello Everybody from Carol Rivoire at Beaver Dam Farm in Nova Scotia -
We have a wonderful coming 3-year-old gelding available. His name is Ooruk,
and he's a grandson of the highly rated German stallion, Ohlson, on his
sire's side, and the superb Danish dressage stallion, Rei-Halsnaes, on his
dam's side.
This youngster has everything it takes to do extremely well in ridden

#1 - Very correct & big mover with equal freedom of movement in his
shoulders
and in his hind quarters.
#2 - He's very tall for his age, and will mature to at least 14.2 hands.
#3- Ooruk has a long and well-shaped neck which will help make him
a pleasant saddle horse, easily able to come on the bit.
#4 - He has one of the world's best dispositions
#5 - He's been extensively trained and handled since birth - There has not
been
a day when Ooruk hasn't had some kind of training and handling.
As a yearling, he started ground driving in harness. That training has
continued as a
2-yr-old. -- He'll be started under saddle this Spring as a 3-yr-old.
Ooruk is such a pleasant horse that we really hate to let him leave, but we
are in the business of selling Fjordhorses, so reluctantly we offer him for
sale to a "dressage home" - What I mean by that is someone who trains and
rides well, or at least appreciates good riding and strives to become
proficient. -- "Dressage Home" to me means how the horse will be trained
and ridden. --- I could care less if he is ever competed.
