Seems to me there are a couple products on the market that are like a "spray bandage"......specifically for animals? My daughter's mother-in-law gets little cracks on her fingers in the winter, is a hair dresser, and uses super glue to seal the cracks. She swears by it??? OMG!!!! Also, could you put a piece tube sock over the knee....then vet wrap it in place above and below to keep from slipping? Might need to be changed often but it would stretch to allow the bend in the knee....... Let us know what works for you..... Special company coming today....they have never been near fjords (and are Norwegian - uffda!!!) so my daughter and I gave three "woolie" fjords baths yesterday. Little "Hasse" was a champ and even tolerated the dreaded sheath cleaning:) We think he is over the "terrible twos" mentality:):):) Of the three fjords...he is the biggest snuzzler/luv bug - haha!!
