This message is from: "Arthur Rivoire" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hello Everybody from Carol Rivoire at Beaver Dam Farm in Nova Scotia -
We have three mares for sale that truly do constitute amazing bargains, and the reason these mares are available at such low prices is that their owners are "motivated to sell" as they say in the real estate business. DELFINIA - 5 yr. old mare, daughter of the famous white stallion, Modellen, who was imported from Norway. Modellen (now deceased) came from an important dressage line. He was a son of the most important Fjord dressage stallion of all time --- Rei Halsnaes. This very cute mare has been with us for three months, and in constant training. She's ridden on the flat with a dressage rider every day. She goes happily on trailrides without a problem. She's a nice mare, and a happy mare. Her in hand and barn manners are delightful. -- She's also a member of our Beaver Dam Farm Drill Team -- a group that performs each week for our Nova Scotia Beginner Driving Vacation guests. This is a 10 min. routine with fast precision riding and canter work. Delfinia works well, and looks great under saddle. She also moves very well, and we consider her to be very athletic. Because the owner is so motivated to sell, Delfinia can be bought at this time for $5,000. -- Frankly, this is a price unheard of at Beaver Dam Farm. -- It's your opportunity to own a really well-bred mare for the price of a low-priced weanling. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TAYLOR - 5 yr. old mare, sired by Hostar, out of a Beaver Dam Farm imported Dutch mare, Dena. -- Taylor is elegant -- the "modern" type. She's somewhat darker in color and has good zebra stripes. -- She's been in training with us for three months. She works quite well on the flat, and is experienced on the trail. -- Taylor is also in our Beaver Dam Farm Drill Team, performing very well. -- We have this routine performed to Scott Joplin on tape for those itnerested. Taylor came to us with very little previous training, so considering she's only been in training three months, she's doing really well. We feel that Taylor is slow maturing, something we've found with several Hostar offspring. There are no serious problems with Taylor, but at this stage in her training, we recommend she go to a somewhat experienced ider. -- - What we mean by that is that Taylor needs the confidence a "somewhat experienced:" rider can give her. Given that situation, she'll continue to progress as she's been doing with us. -- She's a very nice mare with really nice breeding, and available at an unheard of low price of $4500. ASTRA - This is a very interesting offering - 7 yr. old mare daughter of an imported Norwegian mare, and sired by the wonderful old stallion, Solar. Astra is big and blond as so many Solar daughters are. ** (Two of our cherished beginner driving vacation horses are Solar daughters) Astra is for sale at a bargain price because she has a low level bone spavin in her hocks. She's been examined and reexamined and been the subject of various high-level specialist who've all concluded that her condition is very treatable. -- She was diagnosed with Level 1 (out of 3) bone spavin. The "entrey level" treatment is Glucosamine, and we've been using that for a month on Astra, and her condition has greatly improved until she moving very freely. She's well trained to ride and drive. Driving training by Robin Groves in VT. She has an unflappale temperament, and would do really well in a therapeutic program. Given her bloodlines, good looks and size, she'd be a wonderful broodmare. This fine mare needs to go to a knowledgeable home that can keep her sound. Her owner is willing to let her go to such a home for $5,000 -- the bargain of the year. For more information and videos on all these horses, please call Carol Rivoire.
