Last night our fjord baby was born, at 12:30. I got to watch the whole thing.
I did the imprinting. I'll call the vet later to have them checked out. It
sure was two weeks of nervousness. I slept in the barn Saturday and Sunday
nights, and went to work Monday. False alarms!
Yesterday Petra's milk turned cluody. It did predict the foaling. I slept in
the barn again, but this time she had it, no false alarm.
Her name is Sophi. She is a brown dun, no fancy colors around here :-)
Gotta go back to bed.
