Hello from Carol Rivoire at Beaver Dam Farm in Nova Scotia - Spring is here, and we're geared up and working horses. We have three full-time riding trainers on the farm, and a full-time driving trainer. All the horses are ridden six days a week, and driven five days. Horses for Sale - SILAIKA - 2 yr. imported Dutch filly, sired by ARIN. She's tall, up-headed, leggy, forward, and has an excellent attitude. Working well in poles, and almost ready to hitch. STINA - 13 yr. old Norwegian imported mare. Absolutely correct. Moves straight as an arrow. Good quality. Rides & drives. Has produced excellent blue ribbon foals. Dependable and kind. Very forward. Would do well in CDEs. Wonderful manners. SIGMUND - 9 yr. gelding. Rides well. Soft mouth. Very good looking and kind. Excellent manners. Started driving training. Quiet and very gentle, but should have fairly experienced rider and driver as it seems he's suffered some abuse. ZONA - 7 yr. mare. Solar daughter, out of imported Dutch mare. Red dun. Extremely beautiful. Very blonde. This mare has had five years of the best professional training. Also best care. Extremely quiet. Absolutely sound. Kind, quiet & suitable for anybody. -- Older horses always have a history . . . some good and some bad. This mare has had nothing but the best training & care. TARP - 3 yr. gelding. Well started in riding, and nearly bombproof. Just begun driving training, and going well. DUTCH IMPORTED FILLIES - Yearlings. Arriving June 1st. All modesty aside, and please excuse the adjectives, but even the most extravagant superlatives don't begin to describe these exquisite fillies whose quality will make the horse world sit up and take notice. Frankly, I can hardly believe it myself that I was able to find and purchase such good Fjords (size, conformation, movement), and we await their arrival with great excitement. --- If you're interested in top breeding stock, please give us a call. We're importing daughters of Fjellwin and Dragset, and a granddaughter of Oswin, as well as daughters of Gardar, Olsen Junior, Orsta, Bjorgard, and Tunar. It's been said that I have a good eye for Fjords, which is a compliment that means more to me than anything I can think of.
