This was the only gap in Juniper's training when we bought her. I tried to get her into a canter on a lunge line, to no avail. Called up the lady who trained her and asked "did you teach her the word "canter" or "lope" or what? I can't get this mare into a canter at all and I KNOW she doesn't understand what I'm asking". I was told she hadn't been trained to canter :/ So, it was off to work we go. And now Juniper has a wonderful, easy canter. But it would have been so much nicer if she had known this when I bought her. Pamela
