Teressa Kandianis asked if there are any trees toxic to horses.

I wish I had their URL, but I know Cornell University has a site that lists
plants and trees/shrubs that are toxic to horses.  You can probably access
it through a net search.  

I also have heard that some species of maples, especially red maple (Acer
ssp.)are toxic to horses as are species of the Prunus-such as choke
cherries.  The dried leaves are poisonous.  Some research via a web search
could help you here, plus contact your county extension agent for more
information.
