I wish I'd read your E-mail on the waterers earlier. We kept having our outside one freeze up on us. They are insulated to the hilt but nothing worked on those sub-zero days and nights. Finally, we put the heat tape in and they haven't frozen again yet! Yea! Maybe this solved the problem. We haven't had to change filters yet but I think we'll get some spare parts since you mentioned it. Thanks for the helpful advice on Nelson waterers. Susan in Minnesota
