I want to thank you for your very clear explanation that a Wholeflinger
is a horse resulting from breeding a Haflinger to a Fjord. There is so
much to learn in this field, and I really appreciate your expertise!

You'd think that, since we live so near to one another in the Great
Northwet, we'd have met by now. I'd like to, especially since your
sense of humor [or of the absurd] seems as bizarre as mine. Do you
suppose it has something to do with being therapists? Have you
inflicted your humor on your clients as much as I have? Poor dears,
maybe someone should call the therapy police....

In response to your comment about mules and Wholeflingers, from what
I've been reading in the Digest about mule smarts, I think we're lucky
those genes didn't get into that gene pool!

And a note to Mel Thomas - perhaps your adorable husband could tell us a
little about what it's like to be trained by Gayle W. I'm quite
curious. And maybe Gayle would be willing to fill us in on her
experiences training him, it it doesn't violate client
confidentiality.... And was his gelding pleased with the results?

After reading Mel's post, Silka and Rocky are thinking of sending me
down to Eugene for some basic training, so this info would be useful.
Cheers - Peg
