I am going to break-away rope with my pony. And someday I am going to go in a rodeo with her. Maybe, if my parents will think about it, I would like to barrel race with you if you can come to New Mexico. I am seven years old. And I am in the second grade. Can your horse barrel race? Freckles can also pleasure ride and trail ride. I ride with Anna and Teresa who are my next-door neighbors. Anna is 12 years old and Teresa is 10. I have a friend named Stephanie but she does not have a horse. She lives in town. She rides our horse named Frosty. Sometimes we ride double on Frosty. My brother has a Fjord named Tigger. She had a baby last May. My Mom has a Fjord named Winnie-the- Pooh. And I have a Fjord named Shandy. My Daddy has a Quarter Horse named Party. Party is a reiner. He sometimes ponies me with Party. He has the lead rope in his hand and one time Freckles got really scared and she was backing up really hard. Her butt was on the ground. But my dad never let go so I just relaxed and didn't get scared. My brother also has a pony named Miss Dobbin. Joshua is 4 years old. He rides Miss Dobbin a lot. Love, Jodi
