 FINGERLAKES FJORD HORSE SHOW
August 5, 2000 ~ Weedsport, New York



The first annual Fingerlakes Fjord Show will be held at the Cayuga County
Fairgrounds, Weedsport, NY.  Stalls will be available after 4pm, Friday,
August 4th.  The stall fee is $30, with a $20 refund if you strip your stall
before you depart.  Tack stalls are the same price, and you can request
block stabling.  Bring your own bedding and feed as none is available on the
grounds.  There are feed and tack stores in the area, however.

 Camping at the fairgrounds is $15/night with water and electric hookups.
There will be  a hospitality table with coffee and...? on Friday and a food
booth on Saturday.  There is a Days Inn near the fairgrounds, and numerous
restaurants.

  Coggins and Rabies certificates dated within one year of the show date are
required.  Entries close July 15, 2000.  The Class fee is $8 and there is a
$2 office fee.
 Classes will include:

 Halter classes w/overall Championship
 Showmanship (W/T and Junior)
 Walk Trot division
 E/W Pleasure & Equitation
 Pleasure driving & reinsmanship
 Log pull
 Driven cones
 Jumping; W/T, Junior, Adult
 4 fun/game classes
 Groom's class

 There will be approximately 25 classes in all.  Karen Cabic is our judge.
The show will follow ASHA rules; standard show attire.

 Class sponsorship encouraged...$25 per class.  Business card ad in the
program is $35.  Both for $50!  Future shows depend upon financial success
with this one...any help is appreciated!  We are making every effort to keep
the show costs reasonable for the participants.  Next year we hope to have a
two day show with many added classes.

There will be a day of Fjord fun and fellowship on August 6th at Old Hickory
Farm, including a pot luck meal.  Everyone welcome.  Camping and stabling
available on our farm by pre-arrangement.
