I have been reading the list for about a year now, commented a couple
of times. I have learned a great deal about fjords at least in theory.
Saturday I picked up HCF Henry a 4 year old gelding from Karen and Roger
Cabic in Palmyra NY. He is out of Erlend and Bria. I'm very easy to
impress but this is a really nice horse! After having minies, I started
with a Q-horse that was so evil and dangerous that I'm sure a rodeo
wouldn't take her. After bucking the last owner off this mare stomped
him and broke his pelvis in 3 places. That horse is in foal this spring
, probably another devil temperament. I feel I have come full circle in
a couple of years. Already Henry is settled in and even eating out of
the same feed bowl (his choice) with a mini gelding.
After looking a lot of pictures from everywhere for so long I am now
stunned to find that real fjords are actually 3 dimensional , have
personality and really move. It's going to be a good summer! Life is
