It has been suggested to me by several people asking for information that I
need to clarify what exactly is happening and more importantly WHEN! So that
is what I'll do.

First: This keuring is not just for Dutch horses, it is a Dutch keuring only
in the sense that we are using the Dutch system, premiums, IBOP tests and
score sheets for judging. Any Fjord horse registered with the NFHR and either
branded and/or microchipped is eligible.

Second: We are having both Dutch and Norwegian evaluators judging together.

Third: The keuring here at Rainbow's End will take place the last weekend of
September possibly starting on the 27th or 28th with stallion judging and
performance tests. If there is sufficient interest in other regions it may be
possible to host the Van Bons and Mr Rolstadt. Please contact me for a
detailed packet of information explaining the whole procedure.

Fourth: If Marnix does not receive a breeding premium during this keuring he
will not be bred. I hope that by making this very public declaration of my
intentions, especially regarding my wonderful stallion, that people will
understand how committed I am to the process of evaluation of breeding stock.
Trust me just because Marnix came from Holland in no way guarantees that he
will be awarded a breeding premium, he hasn't been evaluated since he was a
yearling and horses change quite a bit between a year and maturity.

I hope this clarifies things. Please feel free to contact me for more
information. Have a nice day. Vivian Creigh
